Well, as some of you may have seen, the Sertimus v2 journal CSS has returned along with a couple of new additions to finish off with.

1. New sections have been added in the journal. These sections include featured art and art status (however it's best to depend on the Art Status custom block on my userpage for the most recent art status).


2. There are now headers above each section of the journal. (Thanks for the Sertimus chao image, ~vivianchhay!)

This will be the final update to my Sertimus v2 journal and my next journal CSS will probably be something that will be usable by other premium users of deviantART. I think I've added enough to my journal skin that I'm proud of it. XP

Besides the CSS, yesterday was 4th of July, or Independence Day. For the ones who live in the U.S., hope you've enjoying it. For the ones outside the U.S., have a nice weekend... Or day. XD Yesterday the family and I celebrated by having a pool party (just for us, though) and had BBQ for dinner. Any sparklers? Sadly no. But we had a good day otherwise.

Also... Club Nintendo. At the end of June 30th, all of the members' statuses have been reset and the "special reward" e-mails have been sent out to the members that had elite status by June 30th. I myself had managed to reach Platinum status before the end of June 30th and may be in for something more special. I don't know though, because of course the prize hasn't been announced yet. But it better be special!

I also was typing a "Happy 4th of July" text in HTML for some other site I go on and typing it manually has driven me crazy. However, guess what I did? I've opened up my C++ compiler and coded a simple program to generate the 4th of July text for me. What it pretty much does is generate HTML code for red, white, and blue text so I can use the code with ease. The only problems with it, though, are that pretty much after you've generated text for the first time, when you try to generate text again, it skips the input process and shows the output of the previous text. Also, since the program I've compiled is a command line program (I'm not ready for windowed programs just yet), the generated text will still need to be fixed because of the way it's formatted after you mark and copypaste from the command prompt window. But oh well, it's my first actual program I've created as a C++ beginner. I need to read my C++ book more...

And my site... There's nothing new except that I've added a widget that makes use of the Twitter API called TweetBoard. I've added it onto my site because it has been a trending topic on Twitter since I have requested a free alpha invite for the service and I'd thought it'd be interesting to add Twitter conversation to my site.
